When did KLP last score? Very pleased for him; should be a big confidence boost. The second half was considerably better than the first and Schade really should have scored with the header. Thank goodness Strand Larsen produced such a poor penalty, otherwise the last 5 minutes would have been nasty. Mane, the sub, was very good for Wolves (glad he didn't start the game); thankfully all the rest were pretty hopeless.

Pretty low quality game, we were pretty sloppy with the ball.

However, we were a different league to them in terms of mentality. Not a physicality thing, they had plenty of strong athletes in their side, but man-for-man we just ran for everything that bit harder.

Not a champagne performance from Schade, Thiago, Janelt, Yarmoliuk etc but they all did the hard yards and the ugly side of things better than their opponents. Thats what you want as a foundation and we had it.

We will need to take care of the ball much better against Bournemouth, so hopefully we will have Damsgaard and Henderson fit for that.

So I've missed two away games this season. You've guessed it, West Ham and today. Starting to get the idea that I shouldn't be going to Everton!

Well done to the lads today and to those who travelled so close to Christmas. The three points was all that mattered this afternoon. The football will get better.

Merry Christmas to all Bees fans.

Not pretty but a great result. Two great goals by KLP

Wolves 0 Brentford 2 (Lewis-Potter 2)

we will take the three points, thank f***.
hard to be inspired but overall a very professional second half performance. buzzing for keano.
Jee you’re almost being positive for a change. Three defeats on the bounce, confidence gets shaken and have to rebuild it. Today was a good start. Happy Christmas

Great that KLP made the difference, a really big win, result more important than performance in this one.

Hopefully we look to be really positive in the next couple of home games now we’re in a very good position.

Not a criticism.....slightly surprised only one rubber .

Wolves 0 Brentford 2 (Lewis-Potter 2)

We won. Thats all that matters. It wasnt pretty. Wolves sounded hopeless. Xmas cheers for KLP...

Wolves 0 Brentford 2 (Lewis-Potter 2)

We got the 3 points, and that is about all that can be said within a positive sense.

Take nothing away from KLP, great for him to get those 2 goals (glad he stepped up in the absence of Dango) however,

The Wolves defending was absolutely f***ing awful - Any other team and I'm sorry to say this, those goals aren't happening.

A shocking first half, slightly better second, but the fact that Wolves even felt that they had a mere chance to get something out of this game it definitely (just a bit) worrying to me.

Anyway, I know I'm going to be hung, strung and quartered for saying this now, by our usual ' 🌟 Positivity Brigade🌟' But I'm simply just saying what's obvious.

Just in case anyone thinks, how we played today was totally fine.

Got the win, happy for KLP, but not happy with out performance (so shoot me down if you must)
We’ve got exactly the same number of points after 17 games as we did when TF was in charge last season.

We’ve even conceded 7 fewer goals.

Since then we’ve lost our head coach, most of the back room staff, our keeper, our captain and our 2 top scorers.

I readily conclude that in the circumstances our first 17 games of this season were better than the first 17 games of last season.

Still, bedwetters are gonna wet the bed aren’t they.

I said 3 nil, I'll take 2 - 0. Professional performance. 10 points clear of the drop zone, 23 points on the board after 6 months of transition. Enjoy your Christmas Keith, it is a very solid start.

Personally , I`m absolutely chuffed we won and as far as I`m concerned I don`t really care by the way that we win games = 3 points is on the board !.... I just much prefer to focus on the positives - 3 points - quality goals by KLP - Hard work by the players - 10 points from relegation zone and only 4 points from 5th ! ---I just don`t understand why you and some other posters can`t just focus on the actual result and be happy

After a very poor 1st Half, much better 2nd. 2 very well taken goals from KLP, this should give his confidence a big boost. Has he ever scored a double for us before today.

Nurse, give the man a nappy. He's obsessed with wetting the bed!

Wolves looking to do an anti-invincibles and go a whole season winless

First half was very poor, from both sides.
Bees came out stronger at the start of the second half, and could have got 3.

And the number of wins, draws and losses are the same.

All results gone for us, only 6 off 4th. Let’s chase Chelsea down!! 😉

Phew! A important 3 points, good to see that we’re ok if not playing our best. Better performances will come. But thank goodness for that Christmas present. All relax now and have a fabulous Christmas everyone!

Wolves 0 Brentford 2 (Lewis-Potter 2)

Can we bin the brown kit please? 2 x Away wins, both in BLUE!
Some snippets from the BBC…
Wolves extend their Club winless PL record.
They’ve also now matched Sheffield United (20-21), at 17 from the start of the season. MU and Liverpool are up next, so they should beat it and take sole ownership..
Edwards has been in charge for 6 games, and lost them all…

You do know the trains are screwed for Everton? I’d give it a swerve if I were you… 😜

Merry Xmas mate, try not to choke on any Turkey ;)

Anyone who thought being Brentford in the premier league wasn't going to have a few downs to go with the ups needs to move to Chelsea.

This is a bloody good day. Wolves haven't won a game yet, this had a home win and Brentford being dragged into the mire written all over it, but a team without Hendo, Dams and Dango literally cruised to an easy win. With all the upheaval of coaches and players, we are miles away from being dragged into any relegation nonsense and still some people aren't happy. Its unfuckinbelievable at times.

There are teams in serious sh*t on and off the pitch, we are so far away from that, but the moaning is something special at times.

Wolves 0 Brentford 2 (Lewis-Potter 2)

Dull first half where neither side looked like they wanted the win & a couple of 'don't panic Capt Mainwaring' moments at the back.
Found a gear in the 2nd half & well done to KLP for two well taken strikes in a busy performance.
Vitalty tidy in the middle, Kayode a bit more like his swashbuckling self, CK looking assured when required.
Up to 12th and five points off of 6th. That'll do nicely. Well done KA & lads...

Quality.

But I bet like me you would swap 3 points and being stuck on the m40 for 4 hours over making it to a game and losing. Its the way our brains work.

People were understandably upset at half time. Not because they are negative people. We have a talented squad and we all know the heights they can reach.

Let’s just celebrate the victory today😁

Today's win gives Brentford a ten point cushion from the bottom three.
All fellow Bees, enjoy a happy Christmas.
Back at the Gtech next Saturday, to start the New Year celebrations early.
