Why on earth would you want to bring a young attacker on when we’re holding onto a lead in a must win game. Lunacyis this the right time to bring on youngsters then? 2-0 up to the worst side we’ll play for a while?

Thing is, we've not been that great. Especially away.
But as youve said, we're actually so close to 5th.
Its like when we finally "went for it" for the promotion when I remember reading that we saw the weakness in the Championship and knew it was our best chance to progress.
This season has a lot of rebuilds for teams. I genuinely believe if Sunderland were playing in the league last season they would not be up there like they are now as I believe the league was actually stronger even with the lacklustre Tottenham and Manchester United.

At last, great result. After our recent run of form, it was never likely to be pleasing on the eye, but a win is a win, simple as that. Wolves may have been poor opposition, but you can only beat what is in front of you, and that’s what we’ve done. Well done lads, especially KLP. Very happy with that. Have a good evening all

First half a bit drab, second half was solid, 2 nice goals and could have had 4/5 more

We’ve not been great all season and I think it’s important to recognise that, but it’s also important to recognise that we’re rebuilding ourselves and the longer we go on, the better the football will get.

Deserved win and 3 points after a poor first half. Feeling of relief, as it wasn't totally convincing.

Not the prettiest performance. Awful first half, better second half. Wolves will beat Derby’s pts record, their players (and board) are a disgrace to their football club, truly terrible. But the only thing that mattered today was getting the job done and we did that. Janelt, Jensen, Schade and KLP our best performers

A very very poor first half from us that was alarming. Much improved second half, got lucky with the first one but no doubt with the second. 2 great finishes from KLP

Pleased for KLP. The rest of them looked absolutely knackered. Was a bit odd Keith didn’t take Rico off when he was on a yellow and struggling against the lad who came on. But three points is three points. Onwards.

Much improved second half. Before the 1st goal we had upped the tempo and got some good deliveries in the box. Some fortune in the 1st goal in that the Wolves defender had a mare but tidy finish from KLP and took the second excellently.
Never a pen in my opinion either, if that's a defender who makes a challenge and gets that much contact on the ball the ref doesn't give it. Kelleher is so good from Pens though.

Take nothing away from KLP, great for him to get those 2 goals (glad he stepped up in the absence of Dango) however,
The Wolves defending was absolutely f***ing awful - Any other team and I'm sorry to say this, those goals aren't happening.
A shocking first half, slightly better second, but the fact that Wolves even felt that they had a mere chance to get something out of this game it definitely (just a bit) worrying to me.
Anyway, I know I'm going to be hung, strung and quartered for saying this now, by our usual '
Positivity Brigade' But I'm simply just saying what's obvious.
Just in case anyone thinks, how we played today was totally fine.
Got the win, happy for KLP, but not happy with out performance (so shoot me down if you must)
