All left me feeling much sicker than tonight personally. I get this was a huge chance and I’m sad but I’ll be over this by the morning.

We did OK. Silly penalty from Kayode gave them impetus. I think KA may look back on bringing on 2 kids as a mistake , they brought in experience. Our squad suddenly looks thin. As for Dangos penalty - silly stuff. Oh well onto Monday.

What averages don’t tell you is whether most of those panenka artists are actually brilliant penalty takers and do it when they know the keeper is going one way.
Such that the next person, let’s call him Mr Dango, tries the same thing, but the keeper isn’t going anywhere, and it looks stupid.

For a club at the forefront of data and probability, I’m surprised ANY player would even be allowed to take that type of penalty.

I thought the same, in the moment you might react to something the keeper was doing. But surely they'd thought where to shoot for beforehand and had practiced accordingly. He won't try it again

I didn’t see the first 90 but Hendo was doing a lot in ET and saved our bacon at least once. Was one of our better players in the little I got to see.

Some shocking ref decisions but we didn’t really play well enough to deserve the win.

People get really triggered by a missed panenka! He actually executed it well just a shame keeper didn’t dive. Jensen went down the middle too by the way! It’s not an unreasonable tactic since keepers usually dive left or right.. maybe he didn’t disguise it well enough. But surely the worst type of pen is one that misses the target altogether?

A shame to go out but can focus on league and top 7 now.

We put out a really strong team, it’s a cup game, did any one expect WHU to just roll over for us ( they have hit a bit of form lately).

You can question what you want, but what you can’t do is go into a foul tirade of abuse at your own player, the sort of abuse you should be reserving for people like Cucurella, and not expect more fair minded fans to call you out for it.

It’s alway the same people who go straight into the abuse of own players every time we don’t win, must be new Brentford, most of us are blown anway away by being 7th.

Much like against Burnley, we looked quite vulnerable in defence for a lot of that game I thought, and were also overrun in midfield by their U21 players for most of the 1st half in particular. The injuries to Rico and Janelt are really hurting us at the moment.

I really hope we can finish this amazing season as positively as possible, but in my opinion we have flattered to deceive for the last few games as a team.

The Penalty that Dango took was not much different to the one Jenson took, only difference was that the goalkeeper stood his ground. Unfortunate!
