the term ‘dropped’ refers to a player being moved from the starting XI to the bench or out of the squad.

Get what you mean but I don't think you can call it rotation on the final day of a season with only this to play for. I would say he's been dropped but I think people assume when you drop someone it has to be because they've been poor but I suspect it may just be a tactical change.

It’s all a question of degree. Players are ‘rotated’, but only if they actually ‘rotate’. Have Pinnock and Nelson been ‘dropped’ all season?

What I would’ve chosen (saving me the Yarmoliuk decision ).

We need to be solid in midfield; Damsgaard can be introduced as more space appears later in the game. It’s going to be 95+ minutes in a bit of heat, all the players will need to put in a shift, so rotations from the bench.
