Glenisterbee

I remember going to Carlisle on a number of occasions by train and spoke to a guy I knew who had travelled by coach. About 40 had put their name down but only 19 turned up. I don’t know if the club then had to reimburse the coach company for...

Bamford injured again. He’s a very fragile lad.

Interesting that Ernie Muttitt got a mention. I met him in 1985 when he told me about the hatrick he scored when we won at St James Park Newcastle way back when. Nice old boy.

Agreed, they tried to kick us off the park in the first ten minutes, We blew them away that day and had Toneys effort not hit the bar, I think we could have won by four or five.

He’s treated himself to some new nashers

Tipi Moillinen. Something like that from memory

Keith Cassells scored a beautifully judged lob at Preston from way out in September 83 to put us three one ahead. I was right behind that one too as the keeper ended up in a tangled mess in the net. Who remembers Robbie Cooke scoring from near...

I can see myself behind the goal in the clip. Trouble is we let them equalise again.

Three of us went on this. Think it was the coldest I’ve ever been at a match until I encountered Hartlepool in February. I remember loads of us going into a news agent/off licence on route back to the station and the owner had never seen so many...

Grand Central are almost always cheaper traveling up there

Get in

The ref called Rodon over and told him the next foul was a card. This was after two poor tackles. He should have had at least one yellow before that. It’s a joke where they hide behind the excuse of it being too early in the game for a card...

Changing shape, formation and personnel plus getting a rollicking at half time means we were never going to be as comfortable second half. Add the fact that our passing got a little less accurate and Elland Road is no place for the faint hearted...

They are. I live in Knaresborough and have four associates who are dirty Leeds. They all text me saying they’d got away with it and in fairness to a man praised us as an excellent side. It goes to prove what we all know, you need at least a two...

You’re not wrong about the pen at their end, he would definitely have given it. We were robbed.

Feel gutted to be honest after that first half domination but you always know that they can’t be as bad second half. So it proved. Such fine margins in the PL. I thought some of our passing wasn’t as precise early second half and we invited...

True and Bankes is hopeless.

Scouser just tried to nick Isak’s shirt off of a kid waiting by the tunnel. He got shamed into giving it back. Scrote.

I had the pleasure of a chat with Ethan at the training ground in April. I have a friend who is a Barnsley fan and Ethan just came across as a very grounded individual, a top top lad who is living the dream. We all wish him well at Coventry, if...

It was a shame he didn’t let us at least take the corner at the end. Sky even mentioned the Exeter game in 1983 where we got seven.
