Looking at the starting XI only Fofana, Sterling and Fernandez were signed for 'big' money last summer and all were subbed off in the 57th min.

Take your pick really but the only one who sticks out is Fofana given what he did last summer at Leicester City.

I’m just glad QPR moved on from that fiasco and settled on something more appropriate and acceptable to their fans.

On one had I can see why they might want to clarify the reasons for it given the back draft from the article......but drawing in the fans as the third party risks alienating the players, as it could be construed by them as playing the blame game and abdicating any personal responsibility for this mess of a season.
